You often hear talk about the importance of a proper warmup before physical exertion, but many overlook the equally important warm-down routine. Giving your body the opportunity to cool down adequately after exercise plays a big part in recovery and injury prevention. Nearly every professional tennis player will have some sort of tennis cool down routine, some more involved than others. Regardless of your skill-set or abilities, treating your body properly after tennis will pay dividends in the future.

You will notice that Kevin begins his cool down by actually continuing some zero-resistance physical activity. Afterwards, Kevin performs a series of stretches with the help of his phsyiotherapist. If you are on your own, there are still a number of helpful moves you can do to loosen up your body after strenuous activity.
